My regular fee for individuals is $250 for a 45 minute session. For couples, it is $325 for a 60 minute session. I meet with people at varying frequencies, ranging from weekly, to bi-weekly to monthly. I reserve a limited amount of slots for people who need a fee reduction. People can pay with cash, credit and check.
If for some reason you need to cancel our scheduled appointment, I require 24 hours advance notice. Sometimes people’s work schedules don’t always make it possible to give 24-hour advance notice so I will work with clients to find an arrangement that works for the both of us. I appreciate that every client situation is unique.
Because I prefer to retain independent control over the type, frequency and duration of my therapy services, I do not take insurance. This allows me greater flexibility to work with you in the best way I see fit. It also ensures maximum privacy and confidentiality regarding your personal health information. However, I provide a monthly receipt so you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Here are some questions to ask your health insurance company to determine if you have out-of-network benefits:
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits (code 90834)?
Is there a deductible for out-of-network benefits, and has it been partially or fully met?
What is the rate for reimbursement?
Is there a limit to how many sessions are covered each year? If so, how many?
